Purchasing Liquids on Chaotic Exchange

Let us walk you through the steps of how you can purchase Liquids on the Chaotic.Exchange using our stablecoin, cUSD!

How to trade Liquids on Chaotic.Exchange

Step 1

Head over to Chaotic Finance and click on Exchange to be redirected to Chaotic.Exchange where you can view all the available offerings on the Exchange. The Chaotic platform is dedicated to perpetual trading! Currently only 10 assets are listed but stay tuned as more will be included and the list will also expand to include assets other than Crypto offerings.

Step 2

If you have already have your cUSD ready, browse through the list on the left and click on each to see more information about the offering.

If you don’t have cUSD ready, click on ‘Build cUSD’ or ‘Buy cUSD’ on Solarbeam before you continue trading. To mint cUSD on Chaotic.Buildr, check out our previous blog post on how to do so!

Step3

In order to purchase your cUSD, you must first connect a wallet. You can choose between Metamask and WalletConnect. We recommend using Metamask.

Step 4

Once you’ve connected your wallet, select your trading pair and choose to long or short the asset on the right hand side panel. With Chaotic you can leverage up to 4x, which can have enormous upside or downside! Adjust your leverage levels accordingly to maximize your profits, however be sure to understand the risks!

Step 5

If you do end up trading with high leverage, you will also be required to adjust your collateral. This will require you to add in more assets, so make sure to do your research and understand the risks before depositing your collateral!
